2008 AMPRA Champs 7th - 9th June

The next AMPRA Champs will be held at Maryborough in Queensland. Maryborough is about 3 hours drive North of Brisbane.

This will be one of the team selection events for the 2009 F3D World Champs team.

 

Schedule:

The plan is;

    Saturday             FA1    We intend to run 9 Rounds.

    Sunday/Monday    Q500, QM in alternating rounds followed by F400.

 

QM will only be run if there are at least 5 entries.

The number of rounds for QM, Q500 and F400 will be determined by the number of entries and time available.

Q500 and QM will be flown on the small (QM) course.

 

Rules:

All racing will be run in accordance with rules published on this web site. As voted at the last AMPRA meeting, the following rules changes will apply;

    Engines in FA1 shall have a maximum venturi size of 113 mm sq (12mm diameter)

    F400 fuselage minimum size shall be in accordance with the USA QM40 rules. (5" high, 3" wide, 12.5 sq in area)

 

AMPRA Meeting:

The annual AMPRA Meeting, including the AGM, will be held at the conference room at the Blue Shades motel on Saturday night the 7th June.
